Watch the investment.

Money in, capabilities in the middle, outcomes out. The same field a delivery team is reading from inside, redrawn for someone trying to decide whether the spend is producing the change.

What this view shows

Three columns: how much was put in, what is being built with it, and what comes out the other end. Useful for an ICB CFO, a Combined Authority finance lead, a foundation programme officer, an SEIS/EIS investor, or anyone responsible for an audit trail across a multi-year capital arc.

Features at a glance

Stakeholder
ICB CFO, Combined Authority finance lead, foundation programme officer, SEIS/EIS investor, board investment chair, or anyone responsible for an audit trail across a multi-year capital arc.
Use case
Read the investment end to end. Money in (committed), capabilities (what is being built with it), outcomes out (what is being published as proof). Decide whether the spend is producing the change at the rate the case originally promised.
What you see
Wave 1 NNHIP funding (£10M nationally, ~£230K per pioneer) · adjacent national programmes (Sovereign AI Fund, MOD Distributed Cloud, Palantir FDP) · capability instruments (INTs, pooled BCF, on-device cohort capture) · outcome publications (case studies, bound A5 outcome books).
Data sources
UK government spending records · Treasury Green Book social-value tables · NNHIP framework · NHS England case studies · ICB programme records · RiDraw field readings.
Refresh cadence
Per government announcement for money-in (uneven; trigger-based). Quarterly for capability movement at active pioneer sites. Per Snapshot or Engagement delivery for outcome publication. The investment view moves slowest of the three; it is the one that needs the longest read.

The flow, end to end

Money in

What has been committed.

£10M

NNHIP Wave 1 nationally (~£230K avg/site across 43 pioneers). Wave 2 expected to scale.

  • £500M Sovereign AI Fund (UK-wide, multi-year)
  • £400M MOD Google Distributed Cloud (defence estate)
  • £330M Palantir FDP (NHS-wide, under break-clause review)
  • BCF pooled-budget flows (variable per ICS)
Capabilities

What is being built with it.

43

NNHIP pioneer sites. Each building one or more of:

  • Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (the footprint)
  • Pooled BCF + outcomes-driven contracting
  • On-device cohort capture (HealthKit / Health Connect)
  • Joint working agreements (LA + ICB + community provider)
  • Cross-pioneer learning loop
Outcomes out

What is published as proof.

3

Pioneer sites that have reached Disclosable stage in 2026 so far. Each carries:

  • Quarterly bound A5 outcome book
  • Measurable PAM uplift (12-week cohort)
  • Avoided non-elective admissions evidenced
  • Cross-pioneer comparable record published

Maturity, in three steps

Stage 1 · Early

Capital committed; outcome instrument not yet live.

Most NNHIP sites today. The investment can be tracked at the line-item level (BCF pooling, MDT staffing, INT footprint), but no outcome data has yet been published that lets a funder evaluate return.

Stage 2 · Tracking

Capability instrumented; outcome capture under way.

EQ-5D-5L plus PAM cohort live in pilot at one or two INT footprints. Outcomes-driven contracting trialled on at least one pathway. First outcome read available within a quarter.

Stage 3 · Disclosable

Outcomes published; investment can be benchmarked.

The bound A5 outcome book is on the ICB board's desk. The cohort delta is measurable. Avoided non-elective admissions are evidenced and audited. The site can be cited as a worked case in an investment paper.

How to act

SEIS and EIS Advance Assurance is in progress. RiDraw Ltd is UK-incorporated. For an investor conversation: engage and tag the message as 'investor'. We will route accordingly. The Canvas Thread is the working record of what is being read in the field; the rest of the investor case is a conversation.
